  • An internet connection for sign-in, cloud models, billing, and update checks
  • Enough local storage for any on-device model you choose to download

  • Product-owned GEPA workflows cover bounded Banking77 and Craftax optimization with prepare, digest-bound start, live watch, candidate lineage, frontier, and materialized-result views.
  • Transcript-first Craftax trace inspection shows model-call input, reasoning, output, tool evidence, raw envelopes, and honest missing-evidence states.
  • Programmatic eval lanes and container capability checks fail closed when the selected producer or sidecar cannot satisfy the recipe.
  • Local VictoriaLogs-backed diagnostics correlate optimizer runs, containers, streams, visuals, and terminal outcomes.

Improved

  • Live visuals replay through declared poll transports with durable, lane-local cursors and one canonical binding envelope.
  • Generation-speed labels are immutable historical snapshots instead of periodically recomputed aggregates.
  • Completed turns measure elapsed work from the latest accepted turn boundary to the durable terminal event.
  • Review captures use a dedicated window identity, separate from the product-window sizing policy.

Fixed

  • Reopening or reconnecting a live visual no longer invents stream URLs, collapses multiplexed rollout identities, or rewrites earlier evidence.
  • Open visual panes reconcile committed revisions without a close-and-reopen cycle.
  • Missing token usage and timing remain unavailable instead of being presented as zero.

Privacy

  • Local model use runs on your Mac. When you choose a cloud model or hosted account feature, the necessary request is sent to that selected service.
  • Provider credentials remain in the native app's custody rather than being handled by this download page.

Known limits

  • This temporary v0.4.0 package is ad-hoc signed and not Apple-notarized. macOS may require Control-click → Open or System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway on first launch.
  • Updates are manual in v0.4. About can announce a newer version, but it will always send you back to this official download page.
  • The bounded Banking77 GEPA smoke is an acceptance workflow, not a promise that every run will improve the seed prompt.
  • This friends release requires macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon; Intel Macs, Windows, and Linux are not supported.
