Synth Workshop v0.7.4

Synth Workshop v0.7.4 binds every local training run to an exact workload and container identity, bounds local training resource use, and corrects two run cards that misreported their own state.

Training identity and provenance

A training run selects an exact ready container and its advertised task family.
With no workload advertised, the launch form stays closed instead of starting an unbound run.
Local runs persist their dataset, configuration, and artifact provenance alongside their visuals.
Local CISPO requires an explicit parent artifact rather than inferring a warm start.

Bounded local execution

Local MLX training and CISPO rollout generation run under explicit memory and length bounds.
MLX runtime child processes reconcile across a Workshop restart.
A completed local SFT run reconciles from its persisted handoff after restart.
Local SFT gates unsafe learning rates and projects its paired held-out evaluation.

Honest run state

Terminal GEPA and eval cards no longer report a missing provider credential after their proxy lease is cleaned up. A terminal record owns its outcome; an absent optional lease is not evidence of a missing credential.
A started SFT job no longer shows a false waiting-for-accelerator state.
GEPA evidence panels reflow at compact pane widths.

Lengthy workload training end-to-end lanes were deliberately deferred for this patch. ALFWorld, Craftax, HealthBench, Harvey/OpenRouter, and the full Banking77 GEPA and SFT training replays were not rerun against this candidate and are not represented as passing. Hosted CISPO remains fail-closed because no admissible canary receipt exists.

This Apple-silicon macOS release is ad-hoc signed and not Apple-notarized. On first launch, macOS may require Control-click → Open or System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
